Who Is Onion Madder?

Onion Madder

Onion Madder is the working identity of Kellye Strickland — a US-based UX designer, systems builder, and civil rights activist who designs for the edges.

I combine analog electronics, accessible interfaces, digital archives, and narrative technology to document what institutions try to erase.

My work spans civil rights litigation, OSINT and forensic archiving, AI-assisted investigation, and surreal interactive environments — always built to respect the people using them.

This site is more than personal expression: it is an ADA accommodation. By structuring evidence digitally, I survive erasure in the very same courts that deny me accommodations and a permanent record.

For the curious: the design work, the portfolio, and the rest of who I am live at kellyestrickland.com.

Everything here is real. Even the parts that aren't. Especially the parts that shouldn't be.
